I'm going to Las Vegas with the family for a second time at the end of July. Now, I'm only 18. However, now that I've gotten a taste of gambling at the Morongo Casino, I think I might lose it if I don't play at least a half hour worth of slots while in Vegas. Can I get away this if I do it in a less secure hotel (such as Excalibur), and jump around from machine to machine, often? Or am I setting myself up for failure?

Haha, I don't drink, so I don't have to worry about that. I just enjoy a good slot machine.

Why not just send me the money, I'll give you a swift kick in the butt. It'll be the same effect.

I don't know why you think Excalibur is less secure that any other...However, there is a slim chance that you might be able to play for a while, but get any thoughts of winning a large jackpot out of your head because you forfeit the winnings by fraudulently playing.
How much fun do you think you will have being escorted out of a casino and being asked never to return? Go play some video games and leave the gambling to the adults.

You were lucky the first time. Don't push your luck. You will get busted and you and your family can be thrown out of the hotel.
Vegas is getting very strict and if you already have the "bug" to gamble at 18, stop now. I lived there 15 years and saw many people lose everything and I mean "everything" to gambling addictions.
I am going out July 15-19 and have no desire to gamble. There are too many shows to see, malls to shop at and amusement parks to play in. There is an awesome art museum in the Venetian with Cezan's, de Gauls, Monet's, and more. There are aquariums, there is Red Rock canyon where you and your family can hike and picnic plus down the road is an old western town full of people in authentic costume with plays, restaurant and more.
I am especially looking forward to Wet-n-Wild water park.

you are under age. any winnings you make especially the big winnings you have to verify your age and Identity. You sound like you were lucky before by not getting caught last time. But what if you win the big Jackpot? You will be on security cameras, and when they find out your underage, the jackpot goes back to the casino. And if you are caught gambling while your under age, the casino has 3 options, they can escort you out of the casino, call your family to come pick you up from their holding room, and if they can't find your family, you will take a trip to the police station and be held there till your family picks you up. It all depends on the casino. Your a risky girl. Please be careful when you come down here to Vegas. Some times people get lucky. But thats all it is, LUCK.
Good Luck.

speaking from experience here, you should stay away from the higher end or even "better known" casinos. instead get off the main strip and check out the seedier end of town you'd be suprised what you can get away with.
in general dress nice (no fubu, ecko, or phat farm clothing), tip waitresses/bartenders well, act polite and in general BEHAVE YOURSELF and you should have no problems.
on the other hand there are plenty of places that will make you some fake ID for around $75 just ask around in the seedier part of town guarantee someone will help you out.
oh yeah when you walk into the bar/casino act like you know what you want and where you're going because then you'll look less suspicious than if you're wandering around like an idiot or if you're taking too long to decide what you want to drink they know you're an underage

You can try, but don't be shocked if you get caught and escorted off the premises.... It happened to me when I was 9 DAYS shy of 21. They can ask you for ID whenever they feel like it.

Get yourself a REALLY good fake ID but keep in mind...If you hit something really big, you won't be able to claim the prize with a fake ID. Good luck!
