I hate it when my friends are sad. hug.
I try to make some sense of it, but I'm not really good at it. So, I sulk a while. I eventually talk to them about it, when I feel a little better and then, everything gets better. They hear my point of view and I hear theirs. So, I end up receiving an apology or a well deserved lesson in humility.

Nothing make me more sad than knowing others are sad. Please don't be!
Disappointment means someone did something other than what you expected, having high hopes is a very easy way to ending up disappointed.
If someone did something you consider bad or mean to you, it was probably a loved one since you had good expectations, realize that he/she is only human, makes mistakes, has needs, confusion, experiences and different reasons to act one way or another. You could disapoint someone out of just being yourself, but still love, care or like the person you disapoint.
Getting over it means a certain Shock of something unexpected, Anger at a point that should not become bitterness, Recognition that what happend happend and that the other person is alowed to make mistakes, Acceptance of what now is a fact and your present, in the end looking for Help if you need to deal with the change involved or to re-build the relation. Be patient with your self and your loved one.
One of my stars for one of your smiles...!

I tell them they have disappointed me and it's gonna take me a while to get over it. No point in beating around the bush. Hope all is well and you can be better soon. I get over it by realizing it's their mistake and there isn't a thing I can do about it.

I try to find someone to talk to about it....it's painful to be disappointed but unfortunately it's a part of life...
But look at how many replies you've received on this...Talk, we're listening...at least i know i am.

Perspective, first think it through and see if it was intentional or not. If your not sure, and it means enough, go and talk it out with the person. If they care , it will be worked out and if they don't , you don't need them anyway.
True friends don't intentionally hurt each other, hang in there, it gets better :)

A wise person once told me that we can't always expect people to do/say what we want them to. I know it is a bitter pill to swallow sometimes. Just move on and do your own thing is the best.

Friends let us down sometimes. They're only human. The question is, was it forgivable? Only you know the answer to that, sweetie.

Just give it time. The feeling will eventually go away.
