If you have a marketable skill, use it. I was once made redundant and advertised as a computer repair technician who does home visits. The point is, I worked from home, paid £15 a week for my ad in the local paper and had no other overheads. Think of a talent that you have - maybe gardening or decorating, or teaching some skill, and sell that. You need to find an untapped niche in your local area.
