There's a certain "irony" in this is there not? I am pressed to figure out a reason for this. Actually, i'm getting quite steamed trying to come to terms with this....

Because contrary to popular belief permanent press clothes do get wrinkled from being crumpled up in suit cases, laundry bags, piled up, stuffing drier too full, etc. Permanent press setting allows you to iron them without (hopefully) destroying the permanent press features (chemical bonding) of the fabric that makes it wrinkle resistant.

Ironic, isn't it? I'll tell you why. Because the term "permanent press" is loosely translated as "permission to ignore wrinkles." Permanent wrinkles, if you let them cool in the laundry basket while carrying them home.

usually the two and five iron. Down the fairway it makes all the difference if your irons are permanently pressed.. I hope this does not drive a wedge between us.
