you have to install yahoo messenger its on the main yahoo page

On the yahoo home page there is a link to messenger if that is what you`re talking about.

you click to go to the yahoo homepage. then click on the thing that says messenger. then you log in download it and you set.

you have to download the instant messenger! go to yahoo home and it should have a place that says yahoo messenger

you mean "im" as in "instant message"...i think you just click the instant message button on your home page...lol ok i shouldnt be answering this question because really i have no clue...sorry :) but i want them points :)
