Is there a kill first before allowing for apology in Texas?

Let's see, the crowd that beat the guy to death was probably all black, the guy was Mexican.

Hate crime?

Or does that just apply if white people do it?

It has nothing to do with being in Texas. There was probably alcohol involved. As well as the "pack" mentality. Every man there knew it was wrong. I just don't understand how more than 20 men were involved in the beating...but they couldn't keep a 3 year old child out of the middle of the street. Every man that was involved should be prosecuted for murder. I would be upset too if my child had been hit by a car. But my daughter would never be out in the street to begin with. Also, I wouldn't have time to beat the crap out of the person who did it because I'd be on my way to the hospital.

the killing of the innocent passenger is about as bad a killing as you could get. It seems to me by reading this news this crowd was bent on beating someone to death. Any reasonable group would have gotten help for the little girl and made sure the local police had all the details to charge the driver. Now you have who know how many murders running away leaving a man they killed for trying to stop them from killing the driver. The incident could have even been cause by the killers and the little girl may have been running from them. Rush to judgment here and murder there should be outrage and everyone involved should be tried for murder in a court of law. I would say a change of venue would be in order so the locals won't be helping their own kind.

I read that and could not understand why they killed that guy... i mean the child did not sustain life threatning injuries, plus the driver stoped to make sure she was ok and the passenger was only trying to protect him from the crowd...the real question should be why was the girl in the road....which brings me to a story........This morning on my way to work i was behind a vehicle and we were going over a hilll and low and behold 3 children in the road they looked to be like 1,2,and 3 no older for sure!! They were smack dab in the middle of the road....luckly another car and the car infront of me parked and the drivers were getting out and taking the kids back into their yard while one i believe called the cops....the child in this story was 3-4yrs old....where was this mob when she was in the road....they should ALL be prosecuted for murder!
