Hate isn't the word I would use, but the reasons I despise our way of life are due very much to the way I currently live within this culture. The discomfort is there, but there isn't much I can do about it at the moment. Within a year, I'll be able to do what makes me happier.

I don't need to leave the U.S. to find my peace. I just need to get out of suburbia and stop talking to people who blindly believe what their religion and political party tell them. I will live a humble life, and then I won't only have the RIGHT to criticize U.S. culture and way-of-life, but I'll also have the justification.

I don't hate the U.S., I love my country. However, I am ashamed of her Imperialist ways, and the way we cast aside the poor and the minorities (suck as atheists, agnostics, gays, etc) and could care less about their freedoms.

I am an idealist. I believe in the ideas America stands for. I will fight, l through my voice and my vote, to return America to the Ideals, to the equality of all human beings, regardless of religion (or lack thereof), race, nationality, sexual orientation, etc.

America shall be returned to her state of innocence and Liberty. It will take a while because of the way the Fundamentalists who have hijacked our nation has screwed us. But eventually, The American Flag will once again stand for Freedom, Equality, and Justice!

People who criticize the US (meaning the government usually) don't necessarily hate this country. They want what's best for it, that's why they protest dumb wars to try and save soldier's lives. True Americans don't keep silent or jump ship when things go bad with their country. They speak out and try to fix it and make things better.

I don't know who he is talking to...however...if those that reside here in this country hate it...then yes I agree they should go and live in a country that they like instead of just griping about how much they hate the USA.

That is GREAT! I know there are many people that despise the US but when asked why they are not in their "Great Country" they respond with "there are no jobs there".

Great question.

It's the nature of liberals to be hypocrites and to reap the advantage of what they criticize, and then take everything for granted.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.
