Cook isn't ready for the NBA. His childhood friends left to the NBA doesn't mean he has to. My top ten is...

1. Greg Oden
2. Kevin Durant
3. Brandan Wright
4. Al Horford
5. Yi Jianlian
6. Corey Brewer
7. Spencer Hawes
8. Mike Conley Jr.
9. Acie Law IV
10. Jeff Green

People are saying that Cook isn't ready. But I know he is.
All these people know is that he didn't play much for OSU.
He probably wouldn't have gone to college if it weren't for the new rule.
He didn't play a lot because there were guys better than him.

He's more ready than people think & he's a very talented player. He wouldn't be projected for the first round if he wasnt ready.

My top 10 in no order:
Greg Oden, Kevin Durant, Brandan Wright, Al Horford, Yi Jianlian, Corey Brewer, Joakim Noah, Jeff Green, Nick Young, Mike Conley Jr.

It's kind of hard to tell because Cook played a team that featured 2 lottery picks this year's draft in Conley and Oden. Anytime you play on a team that features 2 star players, it creates more opportunity for you on offense (easy scoring opportunity, open looks, more assists ) and defense (to make steals). Cook looks like he has the athleticism but in order to thrive in the NBA, you need that along with skills and the will power to get better. Sometimes, being drafted to team that suits your skills who is willing to give you enough minutes also helps. However, only time will tell if he has those special elements or if he is lucky enough to get drafted by the right team.

No not at all! He has alot of improving to do first. He didn't really stand out that much in the college game . He was never really considered one of the top 50 in the college game last year. Why draft him?

Not even close, he rode the pine at OSU and he will ride the pine in the NBA until nobody wants him.
