We didn't have playgrounds when I grew up, just farms. My favorite piece of farm equipment has always been the tractor, John Deer !!

The round-about thing. Especially the kind that hangs from a central pole and swings back and forth as well as rotates around and around! (That was in England) Fun, fun!! Let's go play!

That merry-go-round thing. You grabbed the railing, ran around in a circle to get it moving as fast as you could, hopped on and rode it for 30 seconds. I should have hung out on the slide...Less work.

I can't remember its name, but it looked like a horizontal ladder up on posts. You'd "walk" the ladder by grasping sequential rungs while hanging above the ground. It was as close to Tarzaning as I could get.

well, play grounds have changed a lot over the years..... monkey bars
I had an 'incident' (accident) on the merry-go-round and landed in the hospital. I hate those things!
