I have a mac desktop and my moniter is from gateway. it connected fine but in the back you could connect your game system and play on the screen. So i tried it. It worked fine. So my questions is will the playing of the game decrease my memory or virtual memory if so by how much. I got a xbox.

It won't have any effect on your computer. When the Xbox is hooked up and you're running it, it's the Xbox that's doing the work, not the computer.

Using the monitor for your xbox will have absolutely no bearing on the performance of your computer. A monitor is simply an output device.

uhh no. the xbox is not even hooked up to the computer its hooked up to the display.
