I tried to dry it off as quickly as possible.It seems to be working now but will I possibly have a future problem with my laptop??

I would log off and tip it upside down if you can and leave it for a few hours to let it dry completely. Excess water could still be underneath and seeping downwards.

It shouldn't do anything since is water once it is completely dry. If you spill a liquid onto a laptop the first thing you should do is turn it off and dry it out and do not turn it back on until it is completely dry.

yea the water can damage it. electronics n water dont mix. make sure u dry it quicky casue it can corrode the circuits on the MB

I wouldn't worry so much about it getting wet but I'd really worry about you not being able to use the "R" key anymore.
