i don't engage those individuals as i have nothing to prove to any of them. they can think what they want... it doesn't change the fact that my intellect towers over theirs.

Personally,
I find it irritating, arrogant, and ignorant of any person to have a "preconceived" notion of what the other person is (or is not). I do not try to change any persons mind about me, I figure my answer(s) will speak volumes on "preconceived" notions (if any exist). Funny - yes in a strange way, not a humorous one. On the other hand I do not profess to know alot or to be a "know it all" either. Plenty of "ivory tower" types out there that I question where their priorities are or where they have been for the passed 10 years.
Sorry I could not be more desicive for you on this.

Isn't this always the case?
Maybe that is why I always feel funny and ... happy!
People are influenced by media so much that whatever out of TV is considered awkward, stupid, illogical, ...
But, having conversation with friends, relatives, babies and reading some classic books, I do feel free and fulfilled!

Nah I acted stupid for most of my life in school so that they would take it easy on me then droped out of high school got my ged and am now going to college took the easy road and why not? it worked

I think it is funny strange and somewhat insulted when someone thinks I am stupid but then again it could be at my advantage when I lower the boom on them.

not really... cuz when you prove em wrong... they still try to find a way to make you seem stupid and it just gets annoying after a while
