my brother did an experiment at school about a candle that u put it in a vase of water (the candle is lighted), then u put a tube on the candle, after a while the candle lights off ( no oxegen), and the waterlevel rises. So my question is: Why the water level rises a little after that the candle stops burning??

Because the gas cools down after the candle goes out

The oxygen has been burned by the candle, leaving a vacuum. Once the oxygen is gone, the candle goes out, and the water rises to take up the space the oxygen had been occupying.

I believe the amount of water vapor generated by burning the candle wax would be too small to make a noticeable difference in the water level.

I don't see any reason that the water level would increase once the candle stops burning. My guess is he simply saw what he wanted to see.
