Why do some people feel the government owes them money for something? Far too many people are victims in life! Our government is going broke on paying people for everything they feel they are due, for example, Food stamps… HELLO, Of course it’s not a lot to live off of, it’s not to help you eat like a king, it’s to keep you from starving to death – get a job! People are entitled to what they earn, not to what they can sue for or con the government into giving them. If we elect Mrs. Clinton – National Healthcare will brake this country or turn us into Sweeden.

AMEN Jim Bob. Our nation has certainly created an atmosphere where victim mentality drama junkies and hand out trash thrive and multiply. I'm sure the problem is rooted in both our nation's continuous catering of these types of folks, as well as parents who continue to instill these leaching "values" in their children. People in this country often prefer excuses to solutions....and our educational and media outlets certainly do not help with this matter. I was raised to believe exactly what you said...you deserve what you EARN - nothing more, nothing less - and screaming, whining, and playing the victim game should be reserved for small children (whose parents should not reward them for how loud and long they can cry), not grown adults.

Don't blame the people. Blame the government. The govt. makes it very cozy to stay home & have kids. You can make more money doing that than you can make working every day. AND you don't have to pay day care or get up early.

You will always have people that will abuse or take advantage of a hand out. But if the hand out isn't there, they can't have it.

Do you realize full time day care is more than most women make??

I don't have a clue what you think Mrs. Clinton is going to do that will RUIN national healthcare. WHAT about the way it is now & the healthcare ruins us? One trip to the hospital without insurance can put someone in bankruptcy. Do you know how much prescription drugs cost? TRY & get help. It isn't there. Sure, the big companies say they give you a discount. They do give you a discount. A drug that costs $450 per month can be knocked down to $315. That doesn't help someone on a fixed income very much.......

I think you had better do some more research before you speak about entitlement or any other forms of aid.

When I was a single mom, I applied for food stamps. I had a full time job, but things were really tight. My ex wasn't paying his support at all. I paid all of our bills, but I couldn't afford to work more. I would have been working to pay the daycare, not feed us.

We didn't eat like kings, or expect to. After 6 months I stopped the food stamps because I had been to court and had gotten my child support finally. I have been working since I was 15 and I think that if I paid into the system that I should be able to use it for 6 months, without guilt.

I don't think that people should be lazy and just milk the system, but I am glad it was there for us, otherwise I would have starved (not the kids, I would have gone without food to make sure that there was enough for them)

I agree, far too many people abuse the system, however I pay my tax and if something happens too me which makes it impossible for me too work I should be entitled to something

Cause mommy and daddy raised them that way. Told them they were special, gave everything they ever wanted they could do no wrong. As adults they expect the same thing.
