When you are on probation, you basically can not complain because your services can be terminated by your employer anytime. In other words, you are at the mercy of your employer during this time. If you want to pass the probationary period with flying colors, then do your best and show them you can do the job.

Your employer always has the right to change your job duties. Doesn't matter if it's during your probationary period or not - or if it's 6 months or 6 years after you start. Your option if you are not satisfied is to find another job and quit.
