I think it's her responsibility to maintain her weight, since she is a celebrity. She has an image to maintain. That's why she is getting paid the big bucks. And this is TV, this is what she signed up for. I think she looks good but if her employer want her to look a certain way, then she needs to do what she needs to do.

Rumors on the net suggest that Adrianne Leon aka Colleen was let go due to her rapid weight gain,but that is just pure speculation.
I think the character of Colleen wasn't going anywhere,so they decided to write her off the show.I think it gives the show a chance to bring back the character of Colleen with a different actress.
I do think Adrianne Leon's departure was partially due to the fact that she has gained alot of weight in such a short amount of time.
Is it fair?No it's not.But soaps do it all the time.Look at Gina,Tracy,and Nina.They are all considered plus sized woman on the show,but you conveniently don't see them anymore.
Adrianne Leon is slim,but in Hollywood standards she's considered fat.

Colleen has been nominated for an emmy, she's obviously a good actress. I think they should have at least given her a couple of months to drop 20 pounds.

both actually. If you are hired to look a certain way, you have to fulfill the obligation. However, I was not a big fan of the actress herself. I am sorry that she lost her job. I pray that she can find another job.

I never even noticed the weight gain everyone is talking about. I was actually thinking to myself I wonder what she's been doing she looks great.

It's show business, unfortunately you are expected to look a certain way and if you want to keep your job you have to keep it under control. I personally thought she looked good. I think many actors are way too thin. And I wonder why there are so many young kids with eating disorders these days.

She's been actually eating, that's why she looks great. Nobody wants to look at a painted-up bag of bones on television. Hollywood needs to get real.

She was still under contract. If the weight was the case they would have waited until the contract was up and then just not renewed it. So it had to be something that she did that was unacceptable. Who knows they may get another thick girl to replace her because that does fit her character's background due to her mother Tracey.
