How about Redeemer? Because she came from a rescue home, rescue is like redeem. You can also go to www.petnamesworld.com and find tons of names! Meanings, origins, and what name best suits what animal. Good Luck! I think that Redeemer is a good barn name. And maybe a barn name could be Redeem Me. Galip is Turkish for winner and her show name could be Galiping Star.

I always like names that are really simple, like Classy Lady, Princess of Play, etc. You might look to see if she has a tatoo on her upper lip... she might be registered with the Jockey Club, and have a family record and a registered name. I bought a mare similarly and we ran her and found out who she was related to, what her name was, etc. We called her Emma/ Given the Chance, but her registered name was LD's Galaxy. Good luck!

Raise her upper lip and see if she has a tattoo - which means she may have been raced.
After that - you could name her anything. Perhaps incorporating her rescue org. name - or something having to do with being freed from slavery, or one that means "having survived great turmoil and trials."
I like Molly Brown - after a survivor from the TItanic
or Ruth - a biblical character of great faith and endurance.

Show names
Miracle in disguise
Hope Floats
Close Call
Hearts desire
Desarays fire
or you can use your name and add dream like - Marys Dream
Heart of a rescue
Still standing
Lost hope forever found - and call her hope at home
Forever yours
Hope returns
Ray of sunshine
I love to hear rescue stories, they are so touching to be forever lost and forgotten and found by someone that will love them forever... good luck

Being a mare, and if she's Sorrel, I love the name...
Flicka...it means, beautiful girl. And the original Flicka was a sorrel.
For a show name, you could still use Flicka as maybe
Flicka's Dream
Flickas Lucky Prayer
Good luck!
