That movie took a lot of liberties with theoretical time travel. For one thing, our planet , solar system and galaxy are moving. If you where to break from this timeline and reappear in the future, you would be likely be in the darkest reaches of outerspace. Second, if future events have yet to be determined, how is it possible to move forward on the existing timeline? And lets not get into the whole Law of Thermodynamics

Theoretically, if you traveled in a spaceship towards the center of the universe, you would be travelling into the past. But, since you were getting older during the trip, you yourself, would be moving forward in time towards the future.

If you went back in time to when you were say, ten years old, you would have gone back to the future of your nine year old self.

not without a time machine. we're headed there but we've never been there before so we can't be headed 'back' there. it is possible, though, if you've been there before, come back to the present and later return.

In memories, yes definitely, since you can recall on what you can correct your mistakes. But in reality, no because we cannot change any of our mistakes.
