If not then who is?

I like how Sports Illustrated's cover puts it: "The Quiet Dynasty." It's easy to forget about the Spurs...they don't get in trouble and they don't beat their chests after scoring a point. Bruce Bowen described Timmy Duncan best during the championship rally; he said that many players who get just a little bit of praise suddenly walk tall with their chests sticking out. However, Duncan, who is considered among the best of all time, SLOUCHES when he walks. He doesn't draw attention to himself, and his teammates follow suit.

So yes, the Spurs are most likely the most underrated dynasty of all time. And for those who say they're not a dynasty in the first place, has your team won more than 4 in the last decade? I thought not.

Are the Spurs a dynasty yet?

I dont think so. They havent won any in a row. I would still take the 2000, 2001, 2002 Lakers over the Spurs, just because of the 3-peat.

If they were a dynasty, then they would be the most underrated of all time, but I dont think theyre a dynasty yet.

Indeed, the Spurs have not been given all due credit for their accomplishments--sweeping LeBron's crowd is an impressive feat, after all, especially when San Antonio lost to Cleveland both times in the regular season. However, by far the most underrated team in the history of the NBA is the Boston franchise of the 60's, during the golden days of the Russell-Chamberlain rivalry and Bob Cousy's glorious court-takeovers. Cousy and Russell, along with Tom Heinsohn, K.C. Jones, Bill Sharman, John Havlicek, and legendary coach Red Auerbach, have not been paid their dues for their fantastic 11 championships together. The Celtics were the unchallenged and unquestioned perennial champions season after season, and the main reason Wilt Chamberlain and Elgin Baylor did not win as many championships as they should have.

i agree this is not a dynasty. the celts 8 the bulls 6 out of 8 years those are dynasty's. when san antonio can win more then one in a row then you can start about the dynasty talk. until then they are just the best team of the 2000 era, but by no means are they a dynasty

First they are not a dynasty look who they went through
1 round:Nuggets=didnt get chemistry with AI and Carmely yet
2 round:Suns=Cheated to beat them (Bowen is a loser)
3 round: Jazz=Do I need to explain
Finals: Cavs=Refs gave the Spurs all the calls remember in game three when at the end they didnt call a foul on that ****head Bowen Lebron could have tied the game there.
Your question should be "How long could the cavs kick the spurs ***" that is the question

Hey Jordan Why did they think that the Spurs where going to kick the Cavs *** so shut the **** up

GO YANKS

not many people call the Spurs a dynasty, it is the media that calls them that, but 4 in 9 is tough especislly sweeping one of them, they are a dynasty when they win it next year

I would have to say they are close to it if not the real deal. I guess they are considered this because they never won back to back titiles but 4 of 9 is amazing because they did not win back to back titles . The team has endured over the decade and were able to win at a young and an older age.

The Celtics 8 year dynasty nobody talks about it almost at all and they won 8 straight titles 8 straight straight!!!!!!! They deserve to be mentioned because nobody can duplicate that and nobody will!

They are not underrated nor overrated. They just got it easier winning the Championship. Just look at the NBA today, its the weakest generation. No team wants to play hard nosed defense. No team has passion for the game anymore.

Just face the Facts, Spurs got it easier.
