sound problem?

sound broke, and when i go into the sound and multimedia area, they say... driver is working properly but disabled due to an unknown problem... does anyone know what might be going on here? im lost.

Try updating the driver. You could also try reseating the sound card.

put the motherboard cd in to the optical drive and reinstall the sound drivers !simple , isnt it ?
