It's sad ... I try my best to write in proper english. How do we want to represent ourselves, dumb and lazy or just stupid and ignorant? You may not know it but your insulting you and your country ... try and find a job with the way some people spell on Yahoo Answers ... flipping burgers fits? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I agree. Most people in the U.S. are graduates of public (government) schools. Local, state and federal governments get a failing grade in everything they attempt to do. Have you ever had to deal with a government agency? It is very frustrating to say the least.

since when did P&S become 4th period english? I do understand what you are saying, although this is not a place where proper english needs to be enforced. This is a place where many people of all backgrounds come to,some may know proper english and grammer some may not. I even choose to use slang or shorten my words at times for the simple reason that I can. If I were to search for a job sure then I would pay attention to what I write and how I write, but this place is for fun and wether a person uses puncuation, correct spelling or good grammer does not matter and does not make me judge their intelligence.

That is where you are wrong. First of all, i speak four languages, three of them fluently and one i barely know but should know because it's part of one of the languages i know. Second, i am educated but i do make little spelling mistakes. Third, i type pretty fast and i just type in whatever comes to mind and i don't watch my grammar since i don't really have to but my grammar is really bad. I am not lazy, stupid or ignorant. I know a lot of languages and i get confused because of the spellings. It might be an excuse or not but it's reality my friend. It's sad that you were ranting for a while over there, you took it a little bit too far, geez you lost my respect. As long as our brains can translate it then we are alright!

If you want to criticize people about spelling, you should probably make sure you spelled everything right. That would be "YOU'RE insulting...", as in "you are." Just my too cents.

"You may not know it but you're insulting......not YOUR insulting. And you're not insulting you, you're insulting YOURSELF.
Try TO find a job, not try and find a job.
You've got a little to learn yourself.
