It is a pump on your property that pumps water out oft the ground and suplly you with house water,. it is used if the city water does not have a water service in your neighborhood, most likly if you have well water you have septic tank also

It is a pump that is connected to the bottom of the pipe in your well. It brings the water up to the pipes to supply your house with water.

i have a outside well that has a water pump in it i assume thats what you are asking.it is water proof so special design.

To find out if a pump is well, simply ask..
"Are you well pump"...!
