No peace will ever be achieved by choice. The one thing humans like least is change. So a powerful entity (government agency, whatever) will have to force people to change.
The way to achieve peace? Forced integration on a massive scale. Make everyone have to spend a prescribed amount of time (I suggest 5 years) living in another culture unlike thier own. So, if you are from the West, you have to go to the Far East or Middle-east. From the Middle-east, you need 5 years in the mid-west.
That way, everyone will have a chance to see that we are all just people and not the stereotypes our governments try to make it seem like to justify war.

Definitely not by force or any such negative method. But honestly, I think that we will never see world peace. There will always be bigots or evildoers who will want their way and the world will not be able to rest. It is way out of any human's league, we have to do our best to make this world a better place, but ultimately it is in God's hands.

world peace? that is an ideal, at least in my eyes mainly because in order for true peace to be obtained as well as improvements to be made, war or a sort of disaster would need to happen. because as previous history shows disasters bring people together therefore give a sense of peace. disaster, war etc. also help the environment and economy to improve or at the very least force it to improve. world peace as o said arleady is an ideal, because in the hearts and minds of mankind there will alaways be a disagreement along the lines. peace is defined as "oneness" with the self and others and for tru peace to be obtained, we would need to agree on literally everything.

Each person should take real resposibility for their own actions and stop concerning themself with how others should act. By this I mean people should not lean on gov, religion or culture to tell them how to act and what is and isn't acceptable. The golden rule really is all incompassing. We are all of one relation, our responsibility is to maintain balance in our lives. Do we really even know what we mean by "world Peace"?

Peace is an impossibility. All lifeforms on Earth inherently compete for resources and procreation. It is the way of life; to create, thrive, conflict, weaken, die, and renew. Humans are no different, and we never will be.

A development of robust nanotechnology, allowing everyone to "grow" whatever they want whenever they want. Nasty people who aren't satisfied with that kind of personal power, and still want power to force others to their will would be controlled by police force armed with potent nanotech weaponry.
Just think of it as Star Trek with attitude.
