Yes, the top of my dryer has several items that are too long to fit into the cupboard or drawers in the Kitchen.

I keep a clothes basket on top of the dryer for the kids to throw dirty odds & ends in! The clean stuff gets folded and put away!

storing folded clothes out of the dryer! The clothes never seem to make it away from the dryer until I'm ready to wear them!

Hey, I wear the same clothes to work regularly. My clothes get ruined a lot at work, so they stay in a basket on the top of my dryer. I get dressed downstairs, and very seldom turn the light on upstairs, so hubby doesn't wake up.

The top of my dryer has my cat's food, the dryer sheets and the laundry soap. Sometimes it has the change that got into the dryer too.

The top of my dryer is a never ending abyss of loose change and pocket items like toys, receipts and business cards. Great question/comment!!

There is a coffee can for change found in the dryer, a little trash bag for the lint, the dryer sheets, and quite a few of my husbands tools. (It's outside in the storage shed, we don't have a laundry room)

Never thought of this before, but we keep the soap, stain remover, and fabric softener on top of the dryer, because it is much easier to reach than the wall shelves.
Also, it holds any loose change found in pockets. ;)

I am living in my own house, for the first time in my life, I put everything away, right away.
The top of the dryer is a neat place for a quickie with your honey...
