can i do it myself? is it easy to find a piston the same size?

If you're asking if you can do it yourself, you probably can't.

Machine shops will usually charge by the number of passes they have to make. They will take about .010 a pass. As for the piston, you'll need to get an oversized piston by the same amount that you have bored the engine. If you go .030 overbore, then you need a .030 overbore piston.

You can take the engine apart yourself, but you will need to have a machine shop do the boring. good luck
