It really depends on what you want to apologize for..........
If it was something insignificant then Just say I'm Sorry........
If it was something very significant then you may need to show her how sorry you are......discuss it in depth and make her understand you will never do it again.

Well, it depends on what you're trying to say sorry for. If it's something small then just say it, if its something big then saying sorry don't mean jack, you have to show her you are sorry with your actions and behavior.
