It's a known fact that animals dream. This has been determined by brain scans. What they dream about is not available to us at this stage of our technology.

Since its very difficult to ask a dog what it dreams about, I doubt we will ever know!

i think my dog sometimes dreams about baking at the door. he will do the sleeping bark thing for a few mins then bolt up and run barking at the door. then he just kinda stands there for a sec and goes back to his bed.

I think that they do dream, but i'm not sure about what. Sometimes my dog barks while he's asleep and kicks his legs a bit. He sometimes also wags his tail!

I don't know but I just checked on my puppy (sleeping) and I sat down next to him to pet him, and he started barking but not opening his mouth. I know dogs have dreams, it just looks funny when they do. My puppy was barking with a closed mouth. Lol.
