BLAKE is an excellent outdoors name. I love names that cannot be shorten. When picking a boys name I like to make sure that when the boy is a man the name will sound strong. Like some people name their kids Joesph but end up shortening it to Joe when he is older because that isn't a mans name. Strong names are always the best route to go. I think BLAKE sounds good when he is a boy and will sound great when he is a man. Congratulations on your baby to be!!!!

I have always like the name Douglas. It's not really different, but its not common nowadays. I think its a very strong, masculine name.
