you are just sick of your job?

I mean really sick.. it makes you depressed, angry and miserable all around.

Should I mix it up with vacation and personal time too, or just plain tell employers that I was out because I was SICK of going to work?

Your a dynamic, people oriented person. If your job is not dynamic and filled with positive energy your going to be unhappy.

If I were you, I would put the absolute best face on the job you have; while looking extensively for another job. If you have accrued time you can take, free yourself up for one day a week for doing interviews.

Think about what job you really want and concentrate on that and slight variations of THAT job.

If extra education is needed...go to night classes or do an on line tutoring.

I think you should think of Real Estate Sales. It is people oriented, dynamic, and while you have to work hard you get to move around and be active.

Best of Luck!

Well I guess you can...I mean being sick of GOING to work is really actually personal time the way you look at it. And if your sick of your job QUIT! There's no point in doing something that's hurting you for almost your WHOLE life!

God yes, I do it all the damn time. My employers know how sh*tty it can get so they just gave us absence time. Vacation, sick days, personal time- it's all the same. I usually do it on Wednesday so it's like I have Saturday in the middle of the week. The only time it sucks is when I'm out of days and am really sick.

In my opinion, get a job you like! That idea of signing in sick only works if you want the day off unless you call into your workplace.

If your sick of your job, find another one that makes you happier. Just try to stick it out till you find something new. Put resumes out on Monster.com and any other website you can find. Something will turn up.
