My office has a business casual dress code, which means button down shirts or polo shirts. I can't wear polo shirts because of tattoos on my arms. But, I have trouble finding shirts that fit throught the shoulders and in the arm length that aren't huge around the waist. I am 6' tall with long arms and a 32 inch waist. When I tuck my shirts into my pants they bunch up from all the extra material around the waist. I don't have the money to pay for alterations to all my shirts, so what are my options?

Buy your shirts in "Tall" sizes...then you can buy your regular size but it will have longer sleeves and longer torso. Check some of the online catalogs like Eddie Bauer - they have a lot of business casual stuff.

My boyfriend has this same problem, while he gets his altered now before he would iron the extra "bunch" of the shirt into a upside down "V" in the back and then pin it, this made it easy to tuck down and it wont come up out of your pants or bunch up.

Try American Apparel, most of their stuff is very fitted. Guess sells tight shirts too. Look online for clothes with sizing charts similar to Hollister's (it's on their website).

How about long sleeved polo shirts? Also, check out the Tall Man's section of your local dept. store. They may have shirts in your body style.

Don't buy shirts sized Large or Extra Large; buy sized shirts (neck and sleeve). They cost no more than L/XL shirts, and are more professional. The also won't bunch up at your wrists or force you to cuff them. Any men's clothing store will measure you for free.
