I've been hearing about them since I was about 8 - I'm 38 now so, nah - not worried.

I was very worried after I saw the Killer Bees movies in the 1970's. Now I am not afraid of africanized bees so much as all bees.

I'm from the South and lived in Cen. Texas for years- I never even encountered a "killer bee" I have a tremendous fear of bees in general. And killer doesn't sound very appealing- so yeah now I'm scared.

Yeah, a little worried. They've been here for a while. They seem to bother animals and pets around here. Who knows what they'd do to people.
