I have 3 plants ready to be transplanted either to bigger pots or outside in my garden. I'm not sure if they'll do well outside. So if you are a gardner and know about growing garlic please tell me what's best for them. Thanks...if you have any websites that could help me please list them too!

They probably won't survive inside. If they've been inside since you planted them, they need to be "hardened off'" before you can put them outside once and for all. To harden them off put them outside in a shady spot for 15 or 20 mins the first day and increase the time everyday for a couple weeks. Make sure it's not too hot or too windy/stormy or they will have a hard time adjusting. The websites below should help. Next year, I would recommend planting them in the fall, like you would tulip, daffodils and other bulbs. Good luck!

Put them in full sun, make sure they are the edible type if you are going to eat them. They act like any other perennial bulb flower...they flower and then they will die down and come back the next year. You dig under them to get the cloves and either cover the originals back up for next years harvest or just take what you need when you need. They are pretty much fuss free. After they die down is when you harvest...I wouldn't harvest the first year though!

Garlic is an invasive plant. Once you get it planted outside, you will need to control it or you will have it all over your yard.

They should do fine, just make sure to mark where they are, as many other bulbs can be confused with garlic, and some are non-edible.

Put them in a greenhouse, or if it is hot enough outside they will do well, add cow manure to your soil mix.
