I mean all the same files, setting, ect...

Use the restore disks provided by the systems manufacturer, or reinstall XP if you have the disk. There is no built in utility to return it to its original state, but the re installation Cd's will do what you want.

Yes, but it will wipe out all of your personal data. You can simply reinstall XP. Or is you are working with a computer that has a restore partition or CD set, just do a "System Restore" by either using the disks that came with the computer or by using the "D" restore partition.

System Recovery
(OS Recovery Disk Needed)
you need the disk that came with the computer
and then you need to go to
system recovery on all programs
and click yes when it prompts for system recovery

or you could do system restore (no disk needed)
this can only restore your computer to an earlier time
in the same window as system recovery click the large button
that says Microsoft system restore
