Disney is not where one generally starts a career, but they most certainly do have auditions. That is part of the process. Like they said above, casting notices are sent through the breadown services. Agents see which of their clients (potentially you) would be right for the parts), your headshot is then sent to the casting directors and if they think you may be right for it they set up an audition.
They do not normally have a big open audition where thousands of people will show up because that's chaos and they don't need that. You need to have an agent to get an audition through these channels and no reputable agent will take you without training and some credits. Get onvolved in classes and theatre, everything that you can and once you've done that for a while then work on getting an agent.
When you're ready to find a legitimate agent to represent you for commercials, TV & film go to Sag.org. Use the dropdown menu on the right labeled 'resources' and choose 'agent information'. On the next screen, on the left choose 'Find a SAG franchised agent' and follow the directions. You can look up agents all over the US, but there are higher concentrations where the work is (Los Angeles, NY, IL, FL, GA etc.)
Then you can send them your headshot, resume, and a cover letter stating that you are seeking representation and wait to see if they call you in for an interview.
Once you have an agent, they will get you the auditions, but until then you can check out actorsaccess.com. You can also see if your state has a film alliance. Sometimes they post audition information for projects filming locally. For theatre, you can go to backstage.com or http://www.actorsequity.org/castingcall/... If you find the audition on the Equity site, you still may be able to go, as long as their not taking appointments from equity actor's only :-) On backstage.com you have to pay to get all of the info, but the initial search is free and you may be able to see enough info to find out the rest on your own without paying.
Good luck!

This is Frozen Grocer's excellent answer for all things Disney Channel:
"The Disney Channel" doesn't have auditions. It's not a junior high play. The shows on the Disney Channel have casting people who send out what are called "breakdowns" to registered agents. These are lists of roles that are being cast and the types of actors that are needed. The agents then comb through their clients to see if any of them meet those criteria. If they do, those actors (or the video reels of their previous work) are sent out to read for particular parts. The network doesn't just hold an open audition and hope that people will show up.
You're not going to get seen by anyone at any of the production companies just by contacting them and telling them how much you like their shows. You need to have a legitimate agent who will send you out for jobs, and even then the odds are slim of A) even getting an agent in the first place, B) getting sent out for something, and C) getting sent out for a show on the Disney Channel.

Like with the person's answer before me, Disney Channel doesnt have auditions. They have certain people who make up and cast shows and then submit it to disney. For example, Michael Poryes (spell check) is the creater of Hannah Montana and other DC Shows. Joey Paul Jensen casts for alot of DC Shows like Even Stevens, Lizzie Mcguire, That's So Raven, Cory in the House, Phil of the future, etc.
So if you really want to be involved with Disney, look for the people who cast for them. pay attention to the credits of the show and look up the people that you see often. Those are most likley the ones that have a good repour with Disney.

Whoa there tiger. A good place to start a career is in community theater. Disney Channel doesn't hold open calls where anyone can go audition, you need to have an agent who gets the audition set up for you, which is another step in itself. Get some training, read some books and start small.

this is Frozen Grocer's impressive respond for all concerns Disney Channel: "The Disney Channel" does no longer have auditions. it quite is not any longer a junior precise play. The shows on the Disney Channel have casting people who deliver out what are everyday as "breakdowns" to registered entrepreneurs. those are lists of roles that are being sturdy and the forms of actors that are needed. The entrepreneurs then comb via way of their shoppers to look if any of them meet those standards. in the event that they do, those actors (or the video reels of their till now paintings) are sent out to earnings for specific substances. The community does no longer purely save an open audition and need that persons will demonstrate up. you're no longer going to get obtrusive via way of somebody at any of the form companies purely via contacting them and telling them how a lot you desire their shows. you will desire to have a great agent who will deliver you out for jobs, or perhaps then the percentages are narrow of A) even getting an agent in the 1st place, B) getting sent out for regardless of, and C) getting sent out for a demonstrate on the Disney Channel.
