You WANT a sugar rush, but you're probably gonna NEED a lab tech!
(The pop & sugar should kick in within 15 minutes; the cake will likely take 30 minutes, because it's a complex carbohydrate.)

Typically about 20 minutes. It'll last for about 2 hours and then you'll crash. Plan accordingly.
