Balloons. Which is unfortunate as when one of my ladies (especially - not so much my gentlemen) have a birthday, they often get at least one of the things which is kept up for days.
One lady celebrated her 80th and she had balloons stuck to her bedroom door which I would have had to pass at least two dozen times a night. The rest of the staff were brilliant. As soon as I walked in the door, the late senior would phone upstairs ...
"Elaine's in; remove them please." The balloons would then be put in the ladies room and the girls I was working with on the shift would go into the room to check on her and then the balloons would be stuck back on her door as I left the building the next morning. She had them for a week.
LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR, if there had been an emergency and the lady needed my help, I would have gone in to see to her without hesitation.

Yeah, I have strange dreams about my teeth falling out.
But I guess ending up alone in life. Or being hurt emotionally. Or getting cheated on...
Hmm, and I don't like mini dodgems either. After nearly breaking my arm, I refuse to go near them. That doesn't really count though!

actual arachnophobia for me... tremendously uninteresting specific, yet I surely have severe subject concerns with spiders. i'm terrified as quickly as I see them on the wall, that they'll bounce or land on me. Eeek. My 2nd could be closterphobia - i'm getting particularly panicky in small crammed places.

big spiders. They're nasty creatures they always go for me when i least expect it. Also if I'm in a room with the door shut they always sit on the door so i have to scream for help.
i have this weird phobia of having an accident where my fingers get chopped off dunno where the hell that one comes from.
