Okay, a few things...
#1: I highly doubt that in the entire city of San Antonio, there is not one acting class. Try your local Parks and Recreation, your local community theatres, your school, and even your telephone book. You have to be diligent and not expect to literally stumble upon an acting class.
#2: What does an actor do? Act, of course. That is all an actor is... one who acts. You can skip the class and go directly to community theatre auditions with little experience. That fact that you want to act makes me think you have some experience... go out there and audition your heart out until you get a role. Even if you are Spear Carrier #4 in a community theatre productino of Romeo and Juliet... you gotta start somewhere.
#3: Realize that though there are plenty of actors that hail from TX, you will inevitably have to move to LA or NYC if you are truly serious about acting.
#4: Act because you love the craft, not because you want to be famous (not saying you just want to be famous, just throwing that out there).
#5: Follow your dream!

Don't give up on it! See if there is a school theatrical troupe near by or see if there is a community offered program. If I am not mistaken, San Antonia is a pretty large city, so keep trying with that. If that turns up no results, maybe there is a group in a nearby town. If you STILL can't find one, a poetry group or a Shakespeare club would let you still be theatrical. There might also be online classes offered, so you could do a yahoo or google search on classes near San Antonio or online classes. Well, I hope you find a class and good luck!

Contact Our Lady of the Lake University and see if they have summer classes for youth. They have them for their students and many Universities have them during the summer for jr. high - high school kids.
http://communitylink.com/us/tx/sanantonio/profile/children2.htm - this page has info on acting, dance, theatre, etc.
Just look at the info and email someone to get more specifics.
Good luck!

try looking for some local theatres, or if you can, ask the drama teacher at your school to see if they know about anything. Even though school is probably out but still check. real actors dont really cut off all of their resources in the biz.
