Theres 9 in total. Lucas made the middle 3 first then the first 3 recently and although hes said he wont make the last 3 do you think eventually someone else will?

I'd like to see it done, but I'd really like Lucas to be pretty hands off with it. He nearly destroyed the franchise with the last 3 he made. I think it's a project that Spielberg or Peter Jackson could tackle, if they ever felt the desire. It certainly could be an interesting result.

No, because George Lucas said it is the end of it. There will be a series that takes place after return of the jedi and there was also a clone wars cartoon that took place between episode two and episode 3 and there are always new books coming out but as far as the movies, no I'm afraid not. Sorry.

No they won't be made into movies. At least by George Lucas. They were written into books by Timothy Zahn. Heir To the Empire, Dark Force Rising, The Last Command.

There are none. Lucas has been asked this many times, and he said there is no third trilogy. The whole point of the story is the fall and redemption of Anakin Skywalker. It is finished.

No, b/c they might not even really be written. I read suppose rough drafts that weren't even matching the first three. Also the public begged for the first three, now that there finally out most were dissapointed.
