I need to know about the group that was around in the 50s/60s. Specifically,I need to know what year their song "Somebody Please" was released. I have searched online through several sites and I found a copy of the song(with a picture of the 45) on Ebay but there's no year on the 45.

These sites note dates of 1968 and 1969, so I'm going to guess the earlier date as the correct one.

That was in the early 70's. I have to look at my record and get back with you. The Vanguards was a mid 60's group out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Lead singer was James Davis, and I am his son James Q.
