There's a fabulous website called moonpig.com
You can browse through your pictures stored on your computer and after you've found a card you like, attach the photo to it. I use it all the time. The best thing is, moonpig will even send your card to your friend on your behalf. Alternatively, you can have it send to you to look at first.
