oh i feel so bad for you - its just so difficult when they don't eat or drink and worse if they are feeling ill.

Sweet heart babies cry - if he doesn't throw up with the 3oz then that's great let him cry and become use to three ounces every three hours - and don't worry every baby is different.

Maybe he cries over something else and not for more feed when he doesn't throw up could even be colic. Plus have you tried feeding him through a baby cup, my cousin use to feed her baby with that when she couldn't express enough milk, she mix fed her boy -

It could be that he drinks so fast and takes in so much wind and when he burps he burps the milk out as well. how about if you feed him one ounce - then burp him, then the next ounce and burp him again and repeat - he will have less chances of throwing up i use to do that with my first boy.

It could even be ure giving him a fast flow teat - try the slow teats if you not at the moment. I really do hope it helps good luck!

My baby did the same thing. She would only drink about 2-3 oz then fall asleep. If we fed her more she would also spit it up. Unfortunately we didn't come up with a solution just gave into her needs. Good news she did grow out of it and your son should soon also.We also tried water in between feeding but she would only drink a bit. Try to hold him off by 5 mins intervals and worK your way up. I don't beleive in making babies "starve' as Doctors will tell you to do and make them wait. I just don't beleive in that!Have patience they do outgrow it. Good luck Take care
