alright i have one dish dvr box and use it as a dual thing so its in two rooms. i recently switched the box to the other room that didn't have it and the remotes aswell and they work for the satellite but the universal part to turn the t.v off/on is opposite for one onther. so the remote in one room turns the t.v off in the other and vice versa. is there a way to fix this? how do i do it?

If you still have the manual for the remote then you can change the codes to work for the right tv. If you don't you can find the programming information online, you will need your tv code and programming instructions for your remote. Just google search with "programming "remote brand" and instructions" and it should come up. That is how I had to do mine.

Why not switch the two remotes?
Otherwise, you need to reprogram the TV codes in the remotes.
