I've read different things on different sites. One place said 3 - 6 days after conception, another said 8 - 12 days after, etc. What's the earliest implantation could occur?

Between 3-7 days after conception...read this in my trying to conceive book when I was TTC.

I was told by my doctor that the earliest implantation took place was 6 days after conception, and that from there it takes about 2 days for the HCG hormone to show up in urine. If the egg doesn't implant by 12 days after conception it's too late by then.

Implantation occurs 4-14 days after ovulation or sex. 4 is really early and not that common but it can happen. Implantation bleeding is brown (light or dark) or pink. The spotting lasts no more than 3 days, usually only about 1. Keep in mind that spotting before a period can happen (even if it never happened before) and not be related to pregnancy.

my doc told me around week 3 and 4 is when it happens, and shortly after that they might be able to pick up a heart beat on ultrasound

2 weeks after conception sounds more right to me.
