We were there last year and it was a great trip. The close to Thanksgiving the larger the crowds. That weekend the crowds were quite large. Suggestions, make reservations for meals early, the Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom does a great Thanksgiving meal every day, but it is so special on Thanksgiving.
If you have not bee before I suggest the following:
Soaring California in Epcot
Expidition Everest in Animal Kingdom
MGM- Fantasmic
Rocking Roller Coaster
Twilight Tower of Terror
Plan meals early and call 1-407-W Disney to prearrange, it makes meal special and you cut down on frustration of trying to find a place to eat. Many of the best resturants or on the dinning plan and you can save a fortune.

It is pretty crowded around all holidays. Thanksgiving is great though because of the parades. Also if you stay at the park you'll get notice of different specials and events, etc. They make it really special. Also, Epcot does a Thanksgiving thing where it's like different foods from all the countries, it was my favorite part when we were there, but that was about 5 years ago. The past few times we went afterwards, it was in the summer. Thanksgiving will be perfect weather too!

Thursday through Sunday will be packed because of the long Thanksgiving Day weekend.
Starting the Monday after Thanksgiving through the week before Christmas is historically one of the least crowded times of the year.
We usually set ours up for the Friday after Thanksgiving, and stay ten days or so through the first Sunday in December, and the difference between the first three days and the last seven is VERY noticable to us.

First, you're unsuitable on which parade your marching in. We no longer run the SpectroMagic Parade. in the event that they have you ever donning lighting fixtures furniture then your going to be marching beforehand the main street electric powered Parade. in the experience that your marching interior the Day then your marching beforehand the have fun a Dream Come actual parade. ok, Thanksgiving is PACKED. Its between the busiest situations of 12 months. you could assume great crowds and extremely long lines for rides. the huge Rides like area Mountain will usually have a 70min wait all day. climate is tough. Its many times interior the 70's interior the day and 50/60's at night yet as quickly as we get a cold front from the north that's interior the adolescents at night. you will could wait till at last some days beforehand your holiday and look on the prolonged forecast.

It gets really crowded at Disney world during thanksgiving, and any holiday. I suggest you arrive early, and wait for all the parades (they have alot during thanksgiving) and stay for the fireworks at night. Personally, the fireworks are the best part about Disney, so don't forget to stay for that. Have fun=]

It will be VERY crowded, since kids are out of school for the holiday. If it's not too late for you to change the dates, I would highly recommend going during the first week of December. Kids have gone back to school, Christmas crowds are two weeks away, so lines aren't very long (we've never waited more than 15-20 minutes during this time of year) and the weather is still very nice. I highly recommend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party at MK, the Osborne lights at MGM, and the Candlelight Celebration at EPCOT.

It will be crowded.
Schools and business usually close for three days or more.
Most people plan their vacations during that time because of the weather being a bit cooler and they have vacation time.
We are going to Universal the weekend after Thanksgiving only because we know how crowded it gets.
Have fun!!

Oh my gosh! I love Disney around that time!!! At least when I was there it wasn't TOO crowded, but the main reason I love it is because Epcot has their food and wine festival! Every country has different wine and food selections.... it was great. I hope the two of you have the best time!
