Simple Payment Systems is truly the absolute best for credit card and electronic check processing. The electronic check processes the check like a credit card. The check is deposited into your account ASAP from your business. If it is bad you know right away. I have done research for a long time. They give you free equipment, free training, free software- with a check out cart! (if you have a web site also that you want to sell items on.) They beat discount rate quotes that you give them too, and are way below 3.2% like the guy stated above me. They have 24 hour live help, which is handy. FDIC insured. Make sure you tell them you want the free program. We switched from another company over to them. And have never been happier. Go to their web site and call them or fill out the form and they can contact you. I did countless hours of research! Trust me they are the BEST.
Read all contracts before you go with a company. Some people tell you things and then you find out it isn't a matter of fact. Protect your self and your business! :-)
Best wishes!

The reason PayPal is free is because they charge very high rates on everything else when you make a transaction to make up for this "free" service. Nothing is free, they say that to make more money back by bringing more people in. Email Sales@firstbankcardprocessing.com they have a good ecommerce and merchant account solution for most people. My aunt set up an online jewelry store with them and they have great pricing all the way around.

There is no such thing as a "free e-commerce service". PayPal is no exception; while it does not charge monthly fees or fixed per-transaction fees for its basic service (they do for merchant services), they still charge you 3.2% on all incoming payments.
