It depends on the movie, if its a big action or sci-fi flick then definitely in the movies for the big screen and sound. Plus the popcorn rules and so does the candy, although it is expensive. If its a quiet drama or romance then home would be better cause its cheaper and there really is not perks to watching them in the theater other than the snacks.

I go to a movie about twice a week. But I also have one of the best theaters in the country, http://www.ravemotionpictures.com/ . I also love watching movies by myself, especially artsy ones that my male friends wouldn't get. Since I have no girlfriend at the moment, that's not possible to watch with her.
I also have a really nice setup. I have a bigscreen at the end of my bed with surround sound in my room. Then I have a living room with the same. Denon recievers, B&W speakers or JBLs, and one tv is a Samsung HD and the other is a smaller RCA.
So it's really up to you.

It depends what you're going to the theater for...
I like to go by myself to the movies occassionally... I don't know why. It's nice being able to just sit by yourself and not have to worry about stealing both armrests I guess (lol).
I would have to say I definitely prefer going with other people, although I'm not sure if it's because its more fun, or because there's a little bit of a social stigma associated with going to the movies alone. In any case, it is nice to have someone to complain about a crappy movie to. Or, if you have your boyfriend, to randomly squeeze when something scares the bejeezus out of you... (That, unfortunately, is me... :) )
Anyway, I guess that's my answer!

I like going to the Movies accept for the prices ,but I also like to watch at home because soda w/popcorn makes me pee,so I can at home Pause ,at the theater i miss out.

I watch movies at home because I don't like all the talking in the theaters, with friends is better, but I do like to watch movies privately at home.For what reason? Private. Jimmy.

It's more fun to watch with friends because you feel like you have to someone to talk about what happened and you have someone to talk to before the movie starts.

I actually prefer watching at home with friends. That way you can pause the movie to go get another adult beverage and go to bathroom without missing any of the action.

By ur self is better. If you cry they migh think your a wuss..... If you lauph they might think there's nothing to lauph about. If you shout awsome or bravo. THey might look at you wierd. All in all youwould be to consintrated on how your demonstrating yourself and not be consintrating on the movie. Plus alone time is great. You get time to actually think. But all i all. It depends with who you hang out with to go to the movies. DIfferent expiriences with different people.

It depends pretty much on the movie type... Funny movies I love to go to the theaters (LOUDEST LAUGH!!!) Sad ones... alone @ home with a box of Kleenexes...

i like to go to the theatre with my friends just cuz its fun to go see something for the first time on the big screen. i also love to sit around by myself at night though and watch a movie. no interruptions!! so im gonna say i like to watch them alone best. they both have advantages though!
