I guess that Octopus is the strangest thing that I have eaten. Spider maki was the most unsettling. It's actually a spidery looking crab, but the preparation is creepy. They fried the legs and placed them on top of the maki roll and it looked like a fried spider was crawling out of it.

I was on FTX in Northern Panama in 1986, we traded the villagers MRE's for Igauna meat and some boiled tree root (looked like potatoes)..not too bad

My husband thought it was gross when i was eating a sea food mix in oil which contained baby octapus yummy
Oh i have also ate salt and vinegar crickets, mealworm, kingworm and wax worm. maybe i shouldnt own reptiles if i keep tasting their food. the worms were raw too. i think that watching im a celebrity get me out of here went to my head a bit

I had some beef flavoured cat food today .... it was Whiskas and not at all bad. Jet wasn't impressed though, I've already decided I like his cat nip drops.

id have to say sushi is the weirdest..i hate fish and therefore whenever i tasted it the first time in hawaii i thought i was going to puke. i had no idea it was mixed in a salad that i was eating...it was gross

I was in Nam once, and my crew all got blow to crispy chunks of flesh by a granade thrown in our ditch. They thought they killed us all, but they were wrong. I hid in the dotch while they camped for several days. Out of starvation, I ate several mates in the course of a week.

I ate anchovies on my pizza one time, but on a trip we had just plain snails! (actually... covered in AGED cheese) I sort of tasted like lobster....
