Loud people ??

Question

I have just realised I can't stand loud overly confident people. I really can't bear them ! Why is this ?

p.s. sorry 4 random question, in an office trying 2 act like working + can't stop wondering about really annoyingly loud people

yea I get what ur saying abt loud annoying people. But just people who everyone loves + are really really fun. I just never seem to. Maybe I'm jealous of them ? Maybe III want 2 be the centre of attention ?? Maybe. God, I don't know.

Also I love quiet collected people. Is there something wrong with this ? I don't do it purposely I've always just prefered quieter people. If someone's going to be loud. I normally want it to be me. (even tho I am rarely ever EVER loud) Ugh. I don't understand. I hope my boss doesn't see me type this..

JMS I'm sorry I didn't mean at all to say anything against lous people. It's great everybody loves them ! I just don't understand why I don't. I'm sorry, some of the best people I know are incredibly loud and I love them. I mean attention seekers really. Sorry .

Because they are the type of people that are full of conceit. They want everyone to hear them, feel them (not physically), look at them. They irritate you because you are a quite, confident person at doesn't have to have others attention. You have nothing to prove while they do. These type of people drive me nuts also. I have a neighbor like this that I can handle in small doses. I like him better when his mouth is closed and his wife speaks. Good Luck.

I too am at work. Listen, I am one of the loud individuals that you are ranting about. But I am naturally loud, everybody in my family is. However, people that are the yelling screeching type get on my nerves. I cannot help myself, when I speak it just comes out at a high volume. And although loud folks may appear overly confident like they are putting on a show, that might not always be the case, they may be insecure and feel that is the only way they can receive attention. Or it could be my case, that they just cannot help it.

Usually the loud overly confident people are a bunch of jack@**es just trying to get noticed. Deep down they're probably really insecure. I'm with you on this one. Throw paperclips at them. LOL

LOL - is there a particular motivation for this question? You can't stand loud, overly confident people because they are annoying as piss. Humility is the greatest trait a person can possess.

I have a coworker who is so loud I have to plug my ear while I am on the phone so I can hear. You can hear her laughing even when you are in a different part of the building. She is confident because everyone likes her, and is so happy she is always laughing and giggling.

maybe because like me you see loud people get center of attention, but when all turns there back there different.
they are not who they seem to be just a big put on and that makes me mad.

I agree with you, People who are loud and over confident, are trying to bring attention to themselves because no one can stand to be around them and no one likes them. That makes me ANGRY!!!

They can be realy annoying. Sometimes they get louder when they realize no one is paying attention.That is the worst.

i don't think they are overly confident. i think they are compensating for something they lack in their life and they just want to make themselves feel better.
