I usually hear white-black, white-chinese etc as biracial. I'm French-Turkish, does this count bi-racial?

no

I have said this many times, but here I go again.

There are only 3 racial groups: white, black, and Asian....

Turks are white but a different ethinicity...French are of course white but of Gallic ethnicity.

There are many ethnic groups of white:

Arabian
Persian
Celtic
Anglo-Saxon
Caucasian (not all whites are this, just those descended from the people of that mountain range...although people use this interchangeably with white)
Hispanic
Nordic

etc.

you are bi cultural

have a good day

Actually you are 100% Caucasian. I mean you may have some other racial type somewhere deep in your backround, like many of us do, but you are basically of the white/Caucasian racial type. Turks are Caucasians not Arabs. Most of them are either white skinned, off-white, or olive skinned. Arab is more of a culture and Nationality than a race. Different people in the Middle East and Eurasia have different backrounds. Most people in the middle east are not white in terms of color, but most are Caucasian types and mixed African/Caucasian types. Turks however are straight up Caucasians, so if you want to call yourself white go right on ahead, but acknowledge your two backrounds.

sure why not? it always depens on your opinions. If you think french/turkish is the same as white/white your not bi-racial. You seem to distinguish the differences between the two and you should definitely be allowed to call yourself bi-racial

Do not let them identify you! If you want to be white remain white; they cannot take your racial identity from you.

NO. In order to be biracial you have to be two different races not two different ethnicities.
