Good Morning to you.

Look, I return that type of behavior by being the smiling, happy, cheerful girl. I am extremely fake about it too. The best part about it is, you are not getting upset at them for being idiots and you are annoying the ph*ck out of them because they know you are being fake but what can they do? Tell the boss "She's being smiley and happy to me all day"?? How stupid would that look?? LOL So when she doesn't say good morning back, just make sure the next day when you see her you say it LOUDER and HAPPIER with a huge smile.. A week of this and you will have HER pulling her own hair out.. LOL

When you ask her work related questions once she answers it say (with a big smile) "THANKS!" and walk away. Even if it interrupts her story.

Sour face? Just pretend you don;t see it. Smile and be totally cheerful like you really don;t care what mood she's in, you are HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.

Kill 'em with kindness, it will drive her crazy. And its funny too. You will giggle everytime she gets irritated by your "niceness".

It is obvious this woman has issues, whether real or imagined. I would try to just ignore her and not encourage too much of conversation with her. Take a walk. I have done that many times and it has helped. No tearing her hair out !

When it comes to people like that I try to remember thankfully I don't have to go home with them. We have a girl that whines about everything and her voice is even whiny. lol Ive asked her a few times if she ever woke up and thought it might be a good day for a change. Now she doesnt say as much to me lol.

Wow, boy am I glad I don't work with you! Did you ever think she might be going thru something really, really bad?? Maybe she suffers from depression, maybe someone close to her just died, maybe her husband just left, maybe her child suffers from a serious illness?? You never know how you're going to 'act' until you are in the situation. Give her a break and maybe say a prayer for her. Get over yourself.

Talk to her about weird stuff. Like Buk says, bean dip conversations work well. Invite her on a possum hunt. Order rank fish for lunch. Sing Jesus songs in the office. Make a personal call and talk about your vaginal infection in detail. Call your lover and talk about what you want to do tonight when you get home. Talk like a pirate. Sing "The lion sleeps tonight". Do exercises in the office (make sure your butt is up in the air).

i hear you there. i work with a lady that gives me looks and speaks to me as if I am her 5 year old child, instead of an intelligent 29 year old. She treats everyone like this and I am a couple dirty looks away from telling her off!!!

just don't talk to that person anymore if you can help it, just simply ignore them......if you have to talk, then just tell them that you don't want to talk about thier personal problems or anything else that isn't work related as you mentioned above. Tell them that if they have a personal problem they need to leave you out of it all together....what ever the problem is, it's not your problem why should you have to deal with it?? If they take it out on you, then give her two warnings and then slap the snot out of her....maybe then she'll take you serious and let you be.

Take a walk around the block.

breathe in, exhale. Think happy thoughts. No ripping out the other woman's hair. If she is rude and unhappy, don't bother with her.
